Gold in Regional Olympiads

Pearson Electrotechnology Centre is very proud to announce that Gil De Melo won GOLD at the Montreal Regional Olympics in Electricity. The competition took place at CIMME to determine which two students would represent the island of Montreal at the Provincial Olympics in May. Thanks also to PEC-competitor Ejin Liang for his great participation in the Regional Competition. Finally, congratulations to teacher trainers Chris Foster and Mike Luciano on their support to both of the students throughout the competition.
In the Automobile Mechanics event, Innocenzo Marco Rizzuto from the Laurier MacDonald Career Centre also won Gold! Congratulations to all the candidates who competed in this Regional Skills Olympics 2025 event hosted at WICC. Everyone worked hard and showcased their automotive skills. Innocenzo Marco and Massimo demonstrated their automotive skills during a challenging day of tasks. And a heartfelt thank you to Emanuel Rego for his ongoing dedication and support in training the two candidates.
