EPC-VT June ⛱️ meeting summary

Hello everyone!

At last EPC-VT meeting of this year, we started with a few housekeeping items, checking in on ongoing topics like 5325 LPN table updates and the 4770 Homecare Assistance software. The group is also preparing a proposal to PROCEDE regarding summative evaluations by BIM, to encourage open communications between centre needs and decision-making bodies.  During the roundtable, we looked at a new project on digital literacy and pedagogical tool use. We also exchanged requests for teaching resources in Professional Cooking and School Daycare Educator programs.  We explored an exciting academic knowledge mapping project to help VT students bridge general education with vocational expectations, with a strong collaborative spirit around its adaptation and translation. A big thank you went out for the fantastic Pet Grooming STC pedagogical guide shared by a consultant at Lituguj.  We reviewed the EPC-VT Year-End Report and looked ahead to the next school year. Suggestions included an August meeting to organize, align projects, and maybe shape a common theme—data-driven decision-making was floated as one. We wrapped with Book Club reflections, recognizing that while the book itself wasn’t groundbreaking, the community it created was incredibly meaningful. We’ll continue exploring flexible formats to support deeper connections and professional growth across our network.
