EPC-VT April 🌱 meeting summary

Hello everyone!

Here is a brief summary of our April meeting.

We discussed the upcoming QACVE conference, funding for technology integration projects, consultant requests and communications.  

Registration for QACVE is open until May 1st, so there’s still time to sign up, and a promotional poster ready for sharing in your networks.  At the conference, we will have the opportunity to play a game prototype about supporting Communities of Practice in reflecting on how values influence group decision-making.  The VT vocabulary project is moving forward and we should have a prototype to show you by the end of May.  The Voc Talk café is still on every Monday, but the resources pages are static until the end of the year.  The RÉCIT VT shared information about new proposal dates for project funding, as well as a professional development opportunity, the Table nationale de concertations et de collaboration on May 9.  School boards are looking for resources about choosing an LMS as well as teaching and assessment documents for STC’s on customer service and food production.  There were questions about how Centres incorporate CEMEQ training manuels into teaching, and a request for Centre student code of conduct examples for a project to support centres to create one.  For the second half of our meeting, we continued our analysis of communications through PROCEDE websites to better orient resources for the community.  Our next meeting is May 21, 2024 at 9:00.
