EPC-VT January ☃️ Meeting Summary

Hello everyone!

In our meeting, we opened with some updates on Concomitance funding and scheduling, requests for information about the Appel de projets mesure 50590 document, and details about communications around the recent changes in the health care programs.  We finalized the design choice for our new logo and branding information.  You can see it at the top of this post.  Nice work, team!

In our automechanics teaching tools working group we discussed some examples of rubrics and how to increase teacher buy-in to create and use this tool. We will organize a session where a teacher will share the collaborative process to develop their student tracking tool.  As well, we shared a summary of our last book club discussion which focused on the importance of emotional engagement in presentations, mentoring approaches, and fostering psychological safety during professional development.

Upcoming highlights include the Anglophone Community Expo (ACE) on March 20th, featuring AI, gamification, and more. Our next meeting will be on February 18, 2025, online, from 13:00-15:00.
